BEFORE POSTING A COMPLAINT
Before posting a complaint, take these factors into consideration:
- Do I have sufficient evidence of the player in question breaking the rules? (screenshots, videos, admin-confirmation)
- Was I (or anyone-else) actually affected by the player breaking these rules?
- Can the issue be resolved by talking to the player, rather than posting a complaint?
EVIDENCE
The only acceptable forms of evidence are screen-shots, videos or admin confirmation. You may not add a witness as evidence, nor are you permitted to edit screen-shots. Videos may be sped-up or slowed-down where needed, any other form of editing will result in your complaint being locked and archived without evaluation. You must post evidence with your complaint, you're not allowed to post a complaint and state that you'll post the evidence later - everything must be posted together.
POSTING IN A COMPLAINT YOU'RE NOT INVOLVED IN
You may not post in a complaint you're not involved in unless you have vital evidence to prove they've broken rules. If you notice a player with a complaint has broken another rule and you have evidence of them doing so, do not post on a lasting complaint - make a new one. If you're caught posting in a complaint you're not involved in, you'll be forum banned for three-days.
COMPLAINT PUNISHMENTS
If you're caught taunting a player after a complaint you've placed on them was successful, you'll receive a three-day forum ban and a forty-eight hour IG ban. If you've been banned due to a forum complaint, it'll be tagged with '[FC]'. For example 'Admin banned player22, reason: '[FC] Being racist towards another player.' If you've been banned whilst you were offline and have seen [FC] by your ban message, you'll have to come to this section and search for the complaint posted upon yourself. A player is normally given 24 hours to respond to a complaint.
INFORMING THE PLAYER
You must inform the player you've placed a complaint on and provide evidence of you doing so, otherwise your complaint will be marked invalid. It's unfair to post a complaint upon another player and not give them a chance to respond with their side of the story.
COMPLAINT FORMAT
Entitle your complaint in the correct format. 'Complaint on [Minecraft-Username]'
example: 'Complaint on xxHarryJCxx'
